Celebrity Today for Thursday, July 3:

Day at sea...hooray!  Our itinerary was so port-intensive that this was a welcomed break, a lazy day where everyone did whatever they wanted.  Kaleb and I slept in, then found a couple of lounge chairs on deck and read our Kindles.  There was a special "Grand Lunch Buffet" offering at the Oceanview Cafe, replete with chocolate fountains!

even a cut-to-order fruit station (where I found papaya)

Today would have been a good opportunity to do a spa treatment but I didn't feel like one.  These were the prices:

Tonight was our second formal night.  I forgot to take a picture of the entree menu again...

oysters casino
goat cheese tart
broiled lobster
rack of lamb
mushroom risotto
baked alaska
citrus roulade
raspberry sorbet
tonight's dessert menu
our cabin steward left us a pet

While flipping through the stateroom TV menu that night to check my onboard account status, I noticed that there was a selection to view all the pictures that the Celebrity photographers took.  No need to wade and search through the photo gallery!  I have no idea how the software knew that all of these pictures were part of our group.  I snapped some off the TV for memories' sake:

Tonight (and few prior nights) were spent at the Sky Observation Lounge listening to a live band play covers of popular and classic songs while the guys took advantage of their unlimited drink packages.

Some of you may be wondering if there were karaoke nights and why aren't there any pictures?  There was karaoke, but it was held in the tiny Quasar nightclub.  The setup wasn't very good as there was no stage and no audience seating like in a lounge, so I skipped it.

Celebrity Today for Friday, July 4 (last full day of the cruise...boo hoo!):

Today was America's Independence Day.  Celebrity Equinox was docked in Palma de Mallorca, the capital of Spain's Balearic Islands.  We didn't have any excursions planned, so the group did their own thing.  Kaleb and I just walked around the area for a bit before going back to the ship for afternoon snacks.

Oceania Riviera in port at the same time
mini sandwiches and decadent chocolate cakes

To commemorate the 4th of July, Frank brought along T-shirts for the guys to wear.  After sailaway, we went up to the lawn deck and played bocce ball. (on real grass!)

Instead of our usual late seating dinner, we decided to eat earlier at the buffet so we could pack our bags and leave them outside our stateroom in time for 11pm pickup.  We also headed over to the gelato bar to redeem our coupon for one free scoop...delicious!

Tomorrow, our cruise ends in Barcelona...already over so quickly.  Fortunately we decided to tack on an extra night...stay tuned!
